What is your earliest point-to-point memory?
I suppose going to The Pigeons with James Boland. He rode a winner on Toby’s Friend.
How did you get involved with racing?
I started going up the road to a farmer named Jimmy Fox and started riding ponies. I then moved to Edward O’Grady.
If you weren’t in racing, what would you be doing?
I don’t really know anything else honestly. Something to do with horses anyways!
How do you relax away from racing?
This time of the year I wouldn’t have much time to do anything, but in the summer time I play a fair a bit of football.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Honest, superstitious and a little bit grumpy.
What’s your worst habit?
Smoking. I’m trying to give them up though!
What’s your weirdest pet peeve?
I’d never have the radio volume on 13 in general. It always has to be something above or below it.
Is there a saying you live by?
The more you put in the more you get out of it.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
What you see is what you get really!
If you could learn one skill, what would it be?
I suppose I’d like to better at golf.
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done in your life?
Bungee jumping I suppose. I’ve done a few of them.
What are you most proud of?
I won on Faugheen when he was a four-year-old as well as Petit Mouchoir.
