What is your earliest point-to-point memory?
I’d say going to my local point-to-point in Loughrea with my brother Brian.
How did you get involved with horses?
My auntie has hunters and my brothers Alain and Brian would go and ride them them and I just went with them after that.
Who was your first winner?
It was Follow The Moon for a local trainer called Joe Daniels.
How do you relax outside of horses?
I play a bit of hurling for Craughwell, my local club.
What might someone be surprised to know about you?
I have a few club medals for hurling and I used to play rugby as well.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Laid back, easy going and odd.
Do you have any pet peeves?
I hate if someone is sitting in the passenger seat and they pull down the sun visor and they don’t put it back up when they leave.
What is your worst habit?
Eating chocolate.
Who has been your biggest supporter?
My two brothers, they’ve always been so good to me.
Is there a saying you live by?
Easy come, easy go.
Is there anything that terrifies you?
I hate chickens. They absolutely terrify me. I think a goose bit me when I was younger so I’ve hated geese and chickens ever since.
