PLAN OF ATTACK (IRE)

4yo b g Court Cave - Loadsofability (Supreme Leader)

A €10,000 purchase at the Derby Sale, Plan Of Attack appears to be well bought as the third foal out of a Supreme Leader mare, Loadsofability, who ran without success in a pair of maiden hurdles. She is a half-sister to Paul Nolan’s Grade 2 Novice Chase winner See U Bob, who rose to a career high rating of 148 over fences, and Glencree, a Presenting gelding who also won a four-year-old point-to-point before progressing to win four races under rules. Her first foal, a Definite Article gelding, has won three times under rules, including a half-length defeat of subsequent Leinster National winner Abolitionist at Wexford in October. Since producing the Claire Doyle-bred Court Cave gelding, she also has a three-year-old by Westerner.

STAY HUMBLE (IRE)

4yo b g Beat Hollow - Rosy De Cyborg (Cyborg)

The impressive debut winner Stay Humble is a second four-year-old maiden winner in recent weeks for Beat Hollow following the first time out success of Some Man at Portrush. The 20-year-old son of Sadler’s Wells, a winner of the Grade 1 Arlington Million, who stands at Ballylinch Stud, has proven himself to be a leading dual-purpose sire with group winners Sea Moon, Wicklow Brave and Beaten Up amongst his winners on the level and Battle Group and Cinders And Ashes among his graded winners over obstacles.

Homebred by his owner Walter Connors, Stay Humble is the third foal which his two-time track-winning dam Rosy De Cyborg has produced, as he is a half-brother to the five-time winner Une Lapin Rouge and Smugglers Blues, who is entered in Connor’s colours at Belclare tomorrow. Her latest produce is a two-year-old filly by Fame And Glory.

Success for Overworkdunderpaid, a €20,000 Derby Sale purchase for winning handler Colin Bowe, is the second four-year-old maiden winner in 2017 for his sire Getaway, and already an 11th winner between the flags for the Grange Stud-based 14-year-old’s second crop of pointers.
