Aidan O'Brien and Christophe Soumillon teamed up to win two Group 1 races at Saint-Cloud on Sunday.
Smooth victories for the odds-on chances Puerto Rico and Pierre Bonnard brought O'Brien's tally of Group 1 winners for the year to 25.
Next weekend O'Brien could equal or surpass his own world record of Group/Grade 1 winners in a year when he sends the likes True Love, Gstaad, Precise and Minnie Hauk into battle at the Breeders' Cup at Del Mar.
Puerto Rico (by Wootton Bassett) made all the running to win the Criterium International over a mile at Saint-Cloud. He was following up earlier victories in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at ParisLongchamp and Champagne Stakes at Doncaster.

The very soft ground was in his favour, and it also proved no hindrance to stable companion Pierre Bonnard, who romped home in the 10-furlong Criterium de Saint-Cloud. The son of Camelot had already proven his stamina when winning the Zetland Stakes at Newmarket two weeks ago.
A touch of star quality about this! ??
