Run over the Irish Derby track, the mile-and-a-half contest is scheduled for 17.45 as the eighth and final race on today’s card, which also features three Group 3 contests. Participants in the Curragh-to-Curragh charity cycle are due to arrive at the track just before the Snow Fairy Stakes at 15.27 and will ride up in front of the stands just after 15.30.

The cycle, which is supported by Paddy Power, will start and finish at the Curragh Racecourse, covering 100km and visiting three racecourses and two stud farms.

Sir A.P. McCoy will once again join the cycle to raise funds in memory of his great friend and weigh room colleague Pat Smullen.

The Pat Smullen Cancer Trials Ireland Charity Race, now in its fourth year, and Curragh-to-Curragh charity cycle, now in its fifth, are in aid of the leading cancer trials research organisation.

Together, the events have raised over €850,000 to date to support vital cancer research and organisers hope to reach the €1 million milestone this year.
