SEVERAL promising young flat horses from Ireland have changed hands to continue their careers in Hong Kong.

According to the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s most recent import listings, a quartet of smart three-year-olds have transferred to the jurisdiction.

Eye-catching Group 3 Round Tower Stakes second The Publican’s Son, last seen finishing second to the well-regarded Zia Zabel at Cork, has left Joseph O’Brien to join John Size.

Another former O’Brien-trained performer, Heartbeat Supreme, also features among the latest Hong Kong arrivals. The Supremacy gelding won his second start in a Dundalk maiden by eight lengths in February.

The in-form Fozzy Stack has seen his Cork six-furlong maiden debut winner Samurai Mike move to Francis Lui, while Shaws Bay, who beat the 102-rated Bamako Beach in a Gowran Park maiden in May, is no longer with Johnny Murtagh and instead will be campaigned with trainer Frankie Lor.

An unraced two-year-old by Persian Force (out of Glittering Star) has also appeared in the import listings.

Having sold for €47,000 from Lakefield Farm to Bruno Neto’s BN Bloodstock as a yearling, he was bought back by his vendor for £40,000 at the Goffs UK Breeze-Up Sale in April and goes to the jurisdiction unraced. He will be trained by Danny Shum.
