EQUINE industry education providers Equi-Ed have launched the Future of Racing Scholarship, an initiative designed to support stable staff across Ireland through funded education, professional training, and career development opportunities.

With a total funding allocation of €30,000, the scholarship programme is developed specifically for those working within racing yards. The scholarship offers a structured and practical pathway into continued professional education.

Successful applicants will receive access to a wide-ranging professional development package, including a €1,000 contribution towards the Advanced Practitioner in Integrated Support Therapy, part-funded specialist courses, including Equine Kinesiology Taping and Equine Genetics, fully funded Level 3 Equine First Aid training, access to online racehorse physiology courses, covering cardiovascular and respiratory health and one-to-one career pathway planning sessions with ongoing mentorship and support

The scholarship programme is fully funded by Equi-Ed and will remain open only until the €30,000 allocation has been exhausted. Once full, the scholarship will close and is not expected to reopen until 2027. Applications will open on Wednesday, May 6th, and applicants are encouraged to apply early to secure a place.
