LAST Sunday’s four runner, Group 2 Prix Eugene Adam at Saint-Cloud went to the Mauricio Delcher Sanchez-trained Pearled Majesty who was the second favourite behind Andre Fabre’s listed winner, the Night Of Thunder colt Overnight.

The Persian King colt who won the Group 3 the Prix Noailles and is in the ownership of Christiane Head and was fancied for the Qatar Prix du Jockey Club but was unable to show his true ability, proving too keen. He finished ninth to Constitution River, though only beaten five lengths but ran out a good winner here under Christophe Soumillon.

He won this by two and a half lengths and could go on to better things.

Saturday’s Polytrack meeting at Deauville brought two more nice winners for the Aga Khan Studs and Francis-Henri Graffard. The three-year-old Siyouni filly Narissa took the Listed Tattersalls Prix de Bagatelle for fillies over seven and a half furlongs as the odds-on favourite, winning by a length and three-quarters under Mickael Barzalona

The grey Caravaggio gelding Erdenali had impressed on his debut this season and made it three wins from three when justifying odds-on favouritism in the colts seven and a half furlong contest, the Listed Tattersalls Prix de Saint-Patrick, for the Aga Khan team.
