Saturday's cancelled Fairyhouse meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 14th.
This meeting will revert to entries at weights stage while The Tote Dan & Joan Moore Memorial Handicap Steeplechase will revert to entries after final forfeit stage and fresh declarations to run for all races must be made by 10am on Monday.
Fairyhouse, which also races next Thursday, was raceable on Friday but a precautionary inspection was called for 7.30am on Saturday due to the threat of freezing temperatures overnight.
Brian Hamilton, Fairyhouse clerk of the course, reported at that time that the parts of the track were again unraceable as frost had got back into the ground. Another inspection was scheduled for 10am as temperatures were expected to rise.
However, just after 9.20am the meeting was cancelled. Hamilton said: "The temperatures still hasn't risen - it is still -1C - and we have freezing fog here. There is still frost in the ground. With the fog forecast not to lift until 10.30am, at this stage we are not happy to go ahead and unfortunately we are going to have to cancel today's meeting."
With no improvement in conditions and temperatures having dropped to -3 overnight and remaining at -1, which is colder than originally forecast, @Fairyhouse remains unfit for racing and the fixture scheduled for today has been cancelled. pic.twitter.com/0wXW3MaYEf

British racing
Earlier Wawick's Classic Chase card was called off following an 8.30am inspection.
Racecourse officials posted on social media: "Unfortunately, we have failed this morning's inspection and today's racing has been abandoned. Whilst the majority of the track is raceable, the back straight remains frozen in areas.
"The contingency plan we put in place yesterday, using the outer hurdle line, has frozen under the sheets and is unraceable. With temperatures only forecast to rise above freezing by 10am and a high of 2C, there will not be sufficient improvement ahead of racing."
Kempton's Lanzarote Hurdle card goes ahead. The ground there is good, good to soft in places.
There is also all-weather racing at Lingfield and Newcastle today.
