THE point-to-point fixture list for the autumn season has just been published by the Irish National Hunt Steeplechase Committee (INHSC).

There are 28 meetings scheduled, one more than programmed in each of the past two seasons. The new campaign kicks off on Saturday, October 3rd at Toomebridge in Co Antrim, and ends at Tattersalls in Co Meath on Sunday, December 6th.

The West Waterfords will unveil their new course at Kilphilbeen, Ballynoe, Conna, Co Cork on Saturday, November 21st, while the Laois will hold a fixture at Ballygogue House, Ballacolla, a week later.

The INHSC promotion of older maiden races continues with a bonus of €800 being allocated to three races at Castletown-Geoghegan (October 4th), Lisronagh (October 31st) and Tattersalls on the final day of the autumn season.

The INHSC will also sponsor a bonus of €1,000 payable to the winning owner of the older maiden at the Golden Vale fixture at Turtulla on Sunday, November 15th. This race is confined to handlers who held a permit during the 2025/’26 season and have not trained more than 10 winners under any Rules of Racing, including point-to-points.

A total of 14 novice riders’ races have been scheduled, with at least one race confined to novice riders scheduled on each of the 10 weekends during the autumn season. All of these races form part of the 2026/’27 INHSC Novice Riders Series.
