HASKELL INVITATIONAL STAKES (GRADE 1)

LAST Sunday, Good Magic took his show on the road to take on six rivals in the $1 million Haskell at Monmouth Park.

Making his first start since finishing fourth in the Preakness, Good Magic stalked the pace of longshot Roaming Union before cruising to a three-length lead over Bravazo and Lone Sailor.

Owned by e Five Racing Thoroughbreds and Stonestreet Stable, the son of Curlin stamped himself as the best of the three-year-old division with a facile score. Trained by Chad Brown, Good Magic improved his career mark to three wins from eight starts. Jose Ortiz guided the winner.
