WHEN they have time, many people involved in racing enjoy playing or watching golf and will have a big interest in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open which, hosted by the Rory Foundation, takes place at Royal County Down later this month.

A familiar name will feature at the European Tour event as JN Wine has produced its own brand of champagne for the Open. It is described as delicate and elegant with aromas of brioche and honey and a lemony finish and has been sourced from family-run vineyards in Epernay area of Champagne.

Jim Nicholson, chairman of Down Royal which is home of the JNWine.com Champion Chase (Grade 1), says his company is proud to be associated with such a world-class event.

OPPORTUNITY

“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be involved at this level with an event like the Irish Open. Sourcing quality wine producers is our area of expertise and we’re thrilled that guests and the world-class players at this event will be drinking our champagne. Anything that puts Northern Ireland on the world stage for the right reasons is cause for celebration, and what better way to celebrate than with JN champagne.

“It’s also an opportunity for us to support the Rory Foundation and its incredible work with Daisy Lodge and other charities, and we want to raise as much money as we can on their behalf.”
