As much as I admire Buick he failed to keep his mount on a true line and should have pulled the whip through to his right hand to correct. The horse should keep the race but Buick was not in control and guilty of interference, consequently it was negligent if not plain dangerous.

Respect a lot of what you write and say Kevin, but I think you have picked a poor race to make your point , 100% not intentional. 99% of interference is never intentional. I’d always prefer my jockey to ride a tight line. Humans not robots.

A real shame no great reception for Stradivarius. Fully deserved the plaudits after a 10 length victory for his 3rd Gold Cup.

Charlie Johnston on #Stradivarius: “It was quite special standing out the front there - there has been absolute silence watching every race go by and then there, every single person started applauding; that was one of those quite special moments to watch.”

38 years Battaash’ groom had waited to walk in a winner at Royal Ascot? Fair play, absolutely over the moon for him, clearly has such a great rapport with the horse!
