Gordon Elliott

It’s been a long six months but we’re back with a winner now.

We’re looking forward now, not looking back, and have a lot of nice horses to look forward to for the winter. Looking forward to Listowel and on from there. A lot of the good horses are back in six weeks or so now and a lot will start off in Down Royal. Tiger’s back, we’ve got a serious bunch of young horses. We lost a bit of firepower this year but we’ve got a lot of nice young horses and we’re rebuilding and looking forward to the season to come. The Bosses Oscar runs in the novice chase if the ground is safe. We’ve Party Central, Glan in a maiden hurdle and a few nice bumper horses so we got a lot of nice horses.

Farclas

Conflated

Aramax

The Big Lense

(1UU/5F-16)

We’ll probably run four in the Kerry National: Farclas, Conflated, Aramax and The Big Lense – we’ll have a good team in it.

Aramax and The Big Lense ran well in the Galway Blazers, Conflated is a graded horse running in a handicap and it takes that type of horse now so he ticks all the boxes.

Farclas has got loads of experience, you need for those races, he has run in the English National, so there’s four horses and every one of them has got a chance.

It’s very open race but the unexposed horse is Conflated. He’s got good novice form, he’s a bit hot and cold but he loves going left-handed and is in good form at home. I think the race could suit him.
