On his first run for 10 months, he showed up well to take third in a handicap hurdle won by Scheu Time. He is almost a stone higher than when last successful but the benefit of this comeback run could enable him to go close wherever he turns out next.

This four-year-old was a disappointing favourite on his debut in a Galway bumper but he ran much better at Punchestown next time and he posted another encouraging effort on his jumping debut to finish fourth to Festival D’Ex. It shouldn’t be long before he is winning.

This gelding had to settle for eighth in a useful looking maiden hurdle won by Longhouse Poet but he shaped a good deal better than his final position would suggest and he could be up to winning a maiden in due course.

The first produce of an own-sister to Black Jack Ketchum, this Flemensfirth gelding was well-backed before his debut in the bumper won by Wide Receiver and he shaped up very nicely in taking third. He looks a horse with a bright future.

He followed up a respectable showing at Navan last month with a solid third to Treacysenniscorthy in a two and a half-mile handicap hurdle on Sunday. He looks up to making his mark in a handicap and could improve as he moves up in trip.
