THERE are online previews of both the Galway and Glorious Goodwood meetings taking place in the coming days.

On Monday, the weights for both the Tote Galway Plate and Guinness Galway Hurdle will be unveiled.

Keep an eye on the Galway Races social media channels for a preview featuring track manager Michael Moloney, Galway Bay FM’s racing correspondent George McDonagh, journalist Johnny Ward and Colin McHugh from Ladbrokes Ireland.

British charity Racing Welfare is hosting a Glorious Goodwood preview evening, held in association with Sporting Life, and broadcast live online next Thursday at 7.30pm. The evening will be hosted by Racing TV’s Nick Luck and features Channel 4 Racing pundit Tanya Stevenson and leading Sporting Life journalist Matt Brocklebank.

Michael Shinners, Sky Bet/Sporting Life Head of Sports PR, will also be on hand to give an up-to-date guide to the market. The full line-up for the panel will be announced during the run up to the event.

Tickets on sale

Tickets for Racing Welfare’s preview evening event are now available and cost £10. Everyone who buys a ticket will automatically be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win four Richmond enclosure tickets for a day of their choosing at Glorious Goodwood 2021, courtesy of Goodwood Racecourse. All ticket revenue will go straight to Racing Welfare. Ticket holders will also receive a digital brochure in advance of the evening as well as a guide to the event.

Michael Shinners said: “The Royal Ascot event was a huge success and with such a great line up on the panel we are sure this one will be equally entertaining. We are once again giving each panellist a £100 charity bet, with all profits going to Racing Welfare.”
