THE Racing Home for Easter Festival is booming at Mallow with 20,000 people expected over the three days at Cork Racecourse featuring excellent flat and National Hunt racing.

Ancillary events include fashion shows, local producers and their wares at the food and craft fair in the grounds of Mallow Castle, general family fun events with local musicians and street performers (stilt walkers, fire breathers) in Mallow and a fun cycle around Mallow town.

Everything you could possibly want will be available for all ages including live music in most of the pubs around Mallow and an Easter treasure hunt outside St Marys Church today. Mallow Castle hosts a marquee breakfast with chocolate covered strawberries and waffles with Nutella – yum!

At noon the Countrylifestyle.ie Pet Show is the place to be on the front lawn of Mallow Castle.

At 2pm, racing kicks off at Cork Racecourse for the first of the three-day festival at the track with complementary shuttle buses on all three days.

The Most Stylish Sunday prize yet is yours to be won with Aoibhin Garrihy deciding who will win the bumper prize sponsored by Cork Airport & Cork International Hotel sending you to the city of love for a long weekend. Barry’s Menswear, Mallow are looking for the most dashing gent – so make sure you’re looking your finest!
