FASCINATED to talk to the knowledgeable and enthusiastic Carly Hillier from Whitethorn Equine Health, who will be giving a short talk and demonstration on Equine Zoopharmacognosy at the Irish Horse Welfare Trust, Wicklow, on Sunday week, April 29th at noon.

Zoopharmacognosy describes an animal’s ability to stay healthy in the wild by foraging for medicinal plants. The talk will explain how and why horses do this, followed by a demonstration of how horses can be given the opportunity to satisfy this innate behaviour within a domestic setting.

Entrance fee is €10 either at the door or from whitethornherbals.com. Part of your entrance fee will go to support the great work of the IHWT.
