The 22nd RACE & Michael Kinane Golf Classic took place at Palmerstown House Estate last Tuesday in perfect weather conditions. They are usually lucky that way! The return to this challenging course was very well received by our 21 teams, although a winning margin of eight shots meant that the winning team was in red-hot form!

The team representing the Curragh Racecourse were overall winners and team members Pat Kelly, Eamonn Behan, John Feane and Willie Barry landed one of Irish racing’s ‘majors’ for the Curragh for the second time following a debut win in 2015. The Qualified Riders Association finished second ahead of Coolmore Stud in third.

RACE is very grateful for the excellent support they have received again this year from industry businesses, representative bodies, racecourses, individuals, and suppliers. All proceeds raised go towards facilities renewal and development on campus.
