Naas, November 21st
Ten Ten
(J.P. Dempsey)
On his first run over hurdles since April 2018 this useful chaser showed up well to be beaten less than 10 lengths into fifth in Brown Lad Handicap Hurdle.
He shaped better than the final result and should improve a good deal for his first run since March so a decent prize may not be long in coming his way.
Naas, November 21st
Mr Hendricks
(Mrs J. Harrington)
He showed a great aptitude for chasing when finishing sixth to Janidil in what looked a smart beginners’ chase last Saturday.
After making most of the running, he deserved to finish much closer than sixth and he shouldn’t have too much trouble making his mark over fences this winter given how well he jumps.
Cork, November 22nd
Capuccimix
(H. de Bromhead)
A useful novice chaser last season, he looked as though he was going to run much better than he actually did when eighth to Chatham Street Lad at Cork on Sunday.
After closing in to hold every chance early in the straight he was struggling after a mistake three out and gradually faded out of contention. He is capable of much better than this comeback run should bring him forward considerably.
Dundalk, November 23rd
Tamayuz’s Gold
(J. McConnell)
He has run a couple of respectable races on polytrack lately with his latest effort yielding a sixth behind the dead heaters Solar System and Mrs Thompson on Monday.
His best runs have come over an extended 10 furlongs but his run this week suggested that he might get his turn over shorter and possibly a drop back to a mile can bring about further progress on his part.
Punchestown, November 24th
Regina Dracones
(T. Gibney)
She ran very well to chase home a well-treated sort in Deilginis at Punchestown on Tuesday and that was her first outing since she fell two out in a mares’ handicap hurdle at Navan in February when still holding the lead. There are races to be won with this five-year-old.
