Tiger Voice

(H. de Bromhead)

Tipperary, October 7th

This four-year-old was unable to make an impression in two outings over hurdles last season but his second to the smart Janidil on Monday was quite encouraging. He was the only one to make a race of it with the winner and a maiden success should be well within his reach this season.

Elizabeth J

(J.E. Kiely)

Tipperary, October 7th

On her debut this daughter of Flemensfirth finished a well-held sixth in the mares’ maiden hurdle won by Imperial View. However, she shaped better than the final result would suggest and should be all the better for this racecourse debut which would make her an interesting proposition on her next outing.

Georgieshore

(G. Cromwell)

Galway, October 8th

An 11-year-old who has two victories to his name from 26 career starts, this gelding was making his debut for Gavin Cromwell when falling two out in the race won by his stablemate Jurby. At the time of his exit he still looked to be going reasonably well, albeit with plenty to do, and he will certainly be of interest when he makes his return to the fray.

Earls

(E. Lynam)

Navan, October 9th

This gelding was sixth to Flaming Moon when making his debut in a median auction maiden at Navan on Wednesday and he shaped up quite well having tracked the leaders from early on. The benefit of this initial outing will make him an interesting contender whenever he turns out next.

Magic Fountain

(A.P. O’Brien)

Thurles, October 10th

A daughter of War Front and the top-class Bracelet, she ran quite well to take third in the mile maiden won by Acapella Blu. She looks capable of winning a maiden before the end of the year and she could easily progress further after just four career starts.
