in San Siro

WAIT Forever continued what was a fantastic weekend for sire Camelot when winning the Group 3 Premio del Giubileo over nine furlongs at San Siro last Sunday.

Bred at Pier House Stud, Kildare, the three-year-old saw off stablemates Time To Choose and Dirk, to win by a half length. A consistent sort, he was recording his third win at pattern level.

The three Botti horses finished just ahead of the Oisin Murphy-ridden Clearly but the Kerry native made his trip to Italy worthwhile when winning the Group 2 Gran Premio de Milano on Frau Steinberg’s Night Music. The five-year-old daughter of Sea The Stars ran out a comfortable winner from Summer Festival, whose trainer Botti had to settle for second again.
