The rules allow for pacemakers. I cannot recall criticism of the use of pacemakers for Brigadier Gerard, Mill Reef, Bustino, and Frankel. Given that they were all trained in England does that make it okay.

You’re missing the point. It’s not a pacemaker I have an issue with, it’s multiple runners. You can negotiate a draw bias, dictate the race to suit a draw, cause issues for other leading runners with a lesser horse and provide paths through the field for leading contenders, all while ensure a rough ride for your main rivals.
