SINGER and musician Shane O’Neill from Ratoath in Co Meath has just embarked on an ambitious weight loss challenge and aims to raise funds for two charities at the same time.
Currently weighing in at 18st, The Mad Ass Mules frontman wants to shed five stone by Easter and has enlisted the help of the team at Irish Injured Jockeys.
“This journey is about proving that weight loss can be done sustainably and responsibly without extreme restrictions, quick fixes, or unhealthy methods,” says Shane. “It’s about building habits that last, improving health and showing what’s possible with the right structure and support.”
Shane is asking people to motivate him by making a donation to Leinster Horse & Pony Rescue and the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund through Shane’s Irish Injured Jockeys page.
“Every step I take and every pound I lose will help raise crucial funds to support these incredible organisations.
“The Leinster Horse & Pony Rescue works tirelessly to care for and rehabilitate neglected and abandoned equines, ensuring they find loving forever homes.”
