FRIENDS of the late Mikey O’Connor are running a charity night in memory of the accomplished amateur rider on Saturday, November 28th in The Corner House Bar, Tallow, Co Waterford.

All proceeds will go to ChildVision’s Jack de Bromhead Foundation.

Jockeys past and present are invited to contact the organisers Alan Tobin and Will Curley to learn how they can be part of the evening. Anyone with a prize or sponsorship to offer is also welcome to get in touch.

Mikey died in September 2025, aged 44. He rode 429 point-to-point winners, was southern champion three times and is the fifth most successful rider in point-to-points of all time.
