WELL done to Sallyanne Geoghegan who recently enjoyed a day’s hunting with her pony at a meet of the Laois Foxhounds.
She saved up all her pocket money to buy her pony, which is no less than the fourth pony she has produced herself, and, wait for it... she only turned 11 years old last Thursday week!
The meet was at Stradbally Hall and both Sallyanne and the pony had a great day out from the Crosby estate.
The pony-mad young rider also regularly hunts with the North Kilkennys as well.
No doubt the duo are eagerly eyeing up the Christmas and New Year hunting meets.
Being a dab hand with the ponies at such a young age means Pony Tales will have to keep an eye on Sallyanne. She could well be destined for great things in the equestrian world!
