Danny Sheehy

JUST 17 years of age, Danny Sheehy has moved on from a successful career in pony racing to horse racing. With 500 rides, 170 wins, and having been crowned champion pony rider in 2015, who can doubt that he’ll be successful in this next stage of life.

For now, he is in his final year of secondary school and will continue to train under his father, Eamonn ‘Dusty’ Sheehy. His younger brother Mikey Sheehy is following in his footsteps with pony racing and undoubtedly will challenge his brother’s record.
