Well done, Cork

Sir, - Sometimes we complain about conditions for owners at the races, so also we should give credit when due.

Earlier in the year I complained about treatment at a track, but I/we experienced a truly well organised day at Cork races on Wednesday, October 3rd.

From the moment we arrived at the reception desk in the entrance hall until we left after the last race, we were looked after.

For a mid-week meeting, every effort was made by all staff, from the manager down, to make sure we had a pleasant dining experience and continuous treatment.

My guests, who would not be regular racegoers, enjoyed the day and remarked on how well we were looked after. Well done to all at Cork. - Yours etc.,
