WILLIE Mullins expects to bring some of his Cheltenham entries to Leopardstown on Sunday for an after-race schooling session.

He told The Irish Field: “I probably will send horses but I haven’t any lists made out. That will be decided on the morning.”

Sunday’s Leopardstown fixture has traditionally ended with a host of Cheltenham hopefuls being put through their paces.

The track’s MC Kevin O’Ryan will again be on hand to relay information to racegoers.

Frank Berry, racing manager for owner J.P. McManus, said that On The Fringe could travel from Enda Bolger’s yard to take part in the session, but Gordon Elliott says he won’t be getting involved. “My preference would be to go on Monday instead,” he said.

Ground conditions will be extremely testing at both Navan today and Leopardstown on Sunday, but neither track believes an official inspection will be required before racing.
