TOTE Ireland is looking for a bigger share of the betting market by expanding its offering to cover football and greyhound racing.

This is the first time since its inception in 1930 that Tote Ireland has extended its product portfolio outside racing and it will do so through partnership deals with the Irish Greyhound Board (IGB) and UK-based Colossus Bets.

Founded just two years ago Colussus Bets has developed a niche for offering punters a chance to win or share in £10 million by correctly predicting the score for seven selected football matches. Tote Ireland’s website (thetote.com) now offers this bet to a €2 stake.

The site is also offering Tote betting on greyhound racing from a number of Irish tracks including Shelbourne Park.
