TRAINER Norman Lee recorded a bit of racing history this week when he gave rising star Jack Kennedy his final winner as a claimer.

Their Ballinrobe win with Troublsombrothers was continuing Norman’s hot streak, following successes at Killarney and Roscommon.

“We have 15 in training and room for 10 more,” reported Norman who is heading to the store sales this month with a few orders for his Gort, Co Galway stables. Unafraid to take on the top yards on the track, Norman also targets the point-to-point circuit and landed a lovely touch for his owners with Burren Life, who was sold to Gordon Elliott and Gigginstown for £135,000 last February despite falling at the final fence in his sole outing between the flags.
