WILLIE Mullins appears to be going all out to land a first British trainers' championship with Vautour entered in the Bet365 Oaksey Chase at Sandown on Saturday.
The easy Ryanair Chase winner could bid to make amends for an expensive fall at Aintree, where he was a long odds-on favourite.
Mullins has also entered Ballycasey, Sir Des Champs, Valseur Lido and Vroum Vroum Mag in the extended two-mile-six-furlong contest.
Defending champion Paul Nicholls can call on Art Mauresque, former Champion Chase hero Dodging Bullets, Rocky Creek, Saphir Du Rheu and Wonderful Charm.
In the Bet365 Select Hurdle, Mullins and Nicholls have eight of the 17 entries.
Shaneshill and Vroum Vroum Mag are the pick of the Mullins possibles, with Ptit Zig and Silsol heading up the Nicholls team. However, they all might have to go some to beat The New One, who skipped the Scottish Champion Hurdle in favour of this.
The Bet365 Celebration Chase, set to feature Sprinter Sacre and Un De Sceaux, has been reopened after only nine entries were received, while Nicholls and Mullins have entries in all the other races on what is the finale of the season in Britain.
Nicholls pulled a further £2,220 clear of Mullins in the title race today (Monday) despite neither of his two runners at Newton Abbot winning.
Both Amanto and Dormello Mo were sent off favourite to oblige for Nicholls.
However, Amanto could only finish a three-and-a-half-length second to Harry Fry's Meme's Horse in the SIS Maiden Hurdle, picking up £1,145.
Dormello Mo was an 11-8 favourite in the Happy 96th Birthday, Les Bickham Novices' Chase but Sam Twiston-Davies was sending out distress signals from some way out as Aidan Coleman sat motionless on Aso.
Aso won by 10 lengths from Fourth Act with another 10 back to Dormello Mo, who nevertheless earned £1,075.
Nicholls is now £45,380 in front of Mullins with just five days to go.
