Appeal lost
OWNER David Keoghan has lost his appeal against the handicapper’s decision to raise recent Navan maiden winner He’s Complete by 21lb from 54 to 75.
Trained by Fozzy Stack, the four-year-old defeated the 76-rated Mirror Man by two a half lengths in the six-furlong maiden. Sammyjade, also rated 76, was fourth. On Wednesday He’s Complete finished 16th of 20 in a handicap off his revised mark.
At last Monday’s hearing the Appeals Body considered submissions by Keoghan and handicapper Garry O’Gorman. They also viewed videos of races in which He’s Complete and Mirror Man competed.
The appeal was dismissed but the deposit was returned in full to Keoghan.
