Kevin Manning out with shoulder injury
KEVIN Manning is recovering from breaking his collarbone in a fall at Galway on Monday. The 54-year-old’s agent Kevin O’Ryan said: “It’s a straightforward break, so it shouldn’t be too long. Thankfully, everything else is okay.”
Shane Foley has penalty reduced
SHANE Foley has had an eight-day riding ban reduced to six days on appeal. Foley received the suspension for a careless riding offence at the Curragh on October 14th. The jockey appeal the severity of the punishment and the Appeals Body reduced the penalty, finding that insufficient account was taken by the stewards of the rider’s disciplinary record.
Richie Condon avoids surgery
JUMP jockey Richie Condon, who is based with trainer Keri Brion in the US, has avoided surgery after aggravating an old back injury in a fall in Virginia last Saturday. Condon has been fitted with a back brace but allowed home to recuperate.

THREE mares have been added to the Tattersalls Ireland November National Hunt Sale, which starts on Sunday week, November 7th. The supplementary entries will be offered for sale on Thursday, November 11th, the final day of the auction.
Belper Rose (Lot 1260A) is a six-year-old who was placed twice times in bumpers. By High Chaparral, she has been covered by Maxios.
The eight-year-old Cardigan Bay (Lot 1273A) won four races and was listed-placed over hurdles. By Turtle Bowl, she has been covered by Walk In The Park. Tomorrow Mystery (Lot 1285A), a seven-year-old daughter of Nathaniel, won seven races and has had a wind operation.
