Newcastle inspection

TODAY’S Fighting Fifth Hurdle card at Newcastle is subject to an inspection on Saturday morning because of the threat of frost. Temperatures were forecast to drop to as low as -4°C overnight.

Waterlogging has forced the abandonment of Sunday’s card at Leicester. Doncaster’s Saturday meeting was cancelled during the week for the same reason.
