MAX Dynamite is due to make his 2016 racecourse debut in the Group 3 Henry II Stakes at Sandown next Thursday.

The Willie Mullins-trained six-year-old has been off the track since finishing a close second in the Melbourne Cup last November. The Ascot Gold Cup is said to be the horse’s mid-summer aim.

Stable companion Simenon is also engaged in the two-mile Sandown race, as are High Jinx, Chester Cup winner No Heretic, Pallasator and Quest For More.

Order of St George

Current favourite for the Ascot Gold Cup is Order Of St George who is due to make his seasonal bow at Leopardstown on Friday week, June 3rd in the Listed Saval Beg Stakes. Last year’s Irish St Leger winner had a workout after racing at Navan last Sunday.
