HORSE Racing Ireland’s careers department will stage an information morning in Naas Racecourse on Wednesday, November 22nd.

The event is part of College Awareness Week [CAW], a national campaign that advocates students to have a plan for when they finish school.

There will be six information stands at Naas promoting various occupations in the industry. Patrick Ryan of HRI’s Careers and Racing Education department [CARE] said: “Students will spent approximately 15 minutes at each stand. They will then get to meet reps from UCD, NUIM, UL, CAFRE, Grennan College, Teagasc, and the Curragh PPS. All of these institutions run equine-related courses.”

The event is free to attend but students (or teachers) must register in advance.
