AT The Races has extended its deal to show exclusively the non-terrestrial coverage of Irish racing for another two years. The agreement, with rights holder SIS, means the deal is confirmed until 2019.

Coverage from the 26 Irish tracks has been on At The Races since the channel launched in 2004.

The terms of the new agreement also include the distribution of live online streaming to remote gambling operators.

Last March SIS signed a five-year extension to their deal with Horse Racing Ireland and the Association of Irish Racecourses, which sees SIS as the sole distributor of Irish racing pictures to betting shops until 2023.

At that time it was announced that there would be a review of the future of Irish racing on direct-to-home television beyond 2017.
