Austrian Gaston Glock is expected to allow Gerco Schroder, who partnered the 12-year-old Belgian stallion to his Olympic silver medal win in 2012, to keep the ride on the horse. The duo took silver in both the team and individual show jumping events.

The horse was among a group of 30 show jumpers for sale in the online auction after a Dutch court ruled last month that Rabobank had a right to collect assets from bankrupt owner Eurocommerce Real Estate, linked to Eurocommerce Stables.

The total aggregate from the online auction was €11,126,151. Other top lots included New Orleans who fetched €210,000; Callahan (€180,000); Seoul (€307,500); Capetown (€187,000), Tobalio (€175,000) and Sacramento (€38,000). Namelus R, sire of Tripple XIII, ridden by Olympian Ben Maher, failed to see.
