All welcome at AIRCV annual seminar

The Association of Irish Racecourse Vets (AIRCV) will hold their annual seminar in Goffs next Tuesday (December 17th). The seminar will begin with registration at 8.30am. Members will receive nine CVE points for attending.

Some of the topics that will be discussed include lung wash methods, euthanasia, bandaging and splinting of racetrack injuries and wounds, heat exhaustion in horses, pre–race blood analysis and scoping for peak performance.

The event is open to members and non-members. The AIRCV also welcome veterinary surgeons involved in point-to-point duty and those aspiring to racecourse and point-to-point duty in the future.
