Getting your truck test with Gills Driving School

IF you are planning on doing a truck driving test, whether it is for a Light truck C1 or Rigid HGV truck C, Gill Driving School has everything you need to get your test.

It is easy to get confused when it comes to working out what license you need for driving different vehicles. At Gills Driving School, all of confusion is taken out of it as they book the theory and the driving test for you and they prepare you for each test.

For the theory test, you can purchase the book and study all 1000 questions you might get asked, but this isn’t always the easiest way to learn and pass the theory test. A convenient alternative offered by Gills Driving School is for you to tell them when you would like to do your theory test, they will then book the test.

You then go up to the driving school the day before the test or the day of the test and one of the driving tutors will give you one-to-one tuition and do mock theory tests with you before the real thing.

Once you have the theory test done, you then can apply for your learner permit.

Gills Driving School help you with your driving test the same way they do for the theory test. You choose when you would like to do the test and they organise the rest.

With a range of trucks available to do your tests in, Gills advise drivers to complete their HGV test in the Rigid (C) truck because you can then drive all trucks under 18 tonne, rather than the C1 light truck license which only allows you to drive a 7.5 tonne truck.
