EQUUIP is the education and training department within Horse Racing Ireland (HRI).

The equuip strategy has three pillars:

  • 1. Attraction: it works to attract new people to join the industry by showcasing the careers and opportunities which are available.
  • 2. Develop and grow: develop those already working in the industry to deliver and grow their skills and careers, in the horse racing industry.
  • 3. Sustain and retain: support employers to retain their people to deliver and grow within the industry.
