EDWULF was pulled up in the J T McNamara National Hunt Challenge Cup by but was reported to be “absolutely fine’’, after a visit to the equine hospital, by his trainer Joseph O’Brien.

Injury update

NEWS of Willy Twiston-Davies, following his fall on Foxtail Hill in the Close Brothers Novices’ Handicap Chase, is that he fractured two vertebrae and sustained cracked ribs.
