TAMAYUZ (by Nayef) represents a blend of two of the most famous Group 1- and sire-producing families in the stud book, namely those descending from the outstanding mares Highclere (by Queen’s Hussar) and Urban Sea (by Miswaki).

A Group 1-winning miler for the mighty Mr Prospector (by Raise a Native) sire line, the Derrinstown Stud stallion’s double-digit tally of stakes winners includes two members of the team at Tally-Ho Stud, Sir Prancealot and G Force.

The former, who won the Group 2 Flying Childers Stakes as a juvenile, is among the most highly regarded and anticipated freshman sires of 2016, a horse whose initial yearlings made up to 100,000gns in Newmarket and included a pair of six-figure lots in Goffs, making his €5,000 fee look like tremendous value.

G Force, on the other hand, is only a few weeks into his first season at stud and his fee of €8,000 is an eye-catching one for a well-bred horse whom Timeform gave a rating of 126.

Placed on his only start at two, G Force was one of Europe’s top sprinters at three, gaining his best success when beating Gordon Lord Byron and Music Master in the Group 1 Sprint Cup at Haydock. Although he did not add any further blacktype at the age of four, he was an honourable fourth behind Twilight Son in the 2015 edition of that major six-furlong contest, showing that he retained his ability.

G Force is out of the Listed Scarborough Stakes winner and Group 2 King’s Stand Stakes runner-up Flanders (by Common Grounds) and so he is a half-brother to the listed scorer Laajooj (by Azamour) and also to Louvain (by Sinndar).

The latter mare won the Grade 3 Miesque Stakes as a juvenile and the better of her two blacktype-winning progeny is Flotilla (by Mizzen Mast), the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf heroine of 2012 who went on to add the Group 1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches (French 1000 Guineas) several months later.

Ascot Family (by Desert Style), a stakes-winning half-sister to Flanders, is the dam of the Group 2 Prix Robert Papin winner and Group 1 Prix Morny runner-up Family One (by Dubai Destination), and their dam Family At War (by Explodent) is also responsible for Land Army.

That full-sister to Ascot Family is the dam of the European champion older sprinter Lethal Force (by Dark Angel), the Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes and Group 1 July Cup hero and popular Cheveley Park Stud stallion whose first foals made up to 110,000gns in Newmarket and up to €135,000 in Goffs last year and was one of the most popular sires at the sales in the autumn.

G Force is a Timeform 126-rated Group 1 winner and champion racehorse, is by the sire of Sir Prancealot, and comes from the immediate family of both classic star Flotilla and fellow sprint champion and exciting stallion Lethal Force.

He looks sure to be among the busiest new stallions of the year and his progenty will no doubt be popular at the 2017 foal sales.

Champion 3yr old sprinter in Europe in 2014. Retires to stud in 2016.
