FOLLOWING a strong renewal of the Derby Sale, Tattersalls Ireland have released the catalogue for the July Store Sale. Some 580 lots are due to be offered on July 23rd and 24th, the majority of which are three-year-olds, along with four four-year-olds and six two-year-olds.
The catalogue includes three-year-olds out of Grade 1 winners Black Tears and Voler La Vedette, as well as the beautifully-bred Hazarista, who placed in the Irish and Yorkshire Oaks. The first foal out of Cabaret Queen, winner of the Kerry and Munster Nationals, also features.
Poet’s Word’s impressive start at stud has seen his prices soar in the ring and among his offerings here is a granddaughter of Petite Parisienne. Order Of St George is another popular young sire and his lots catalogued include a filly from the top-class family of Blazing Liss and Bobs Worth.
Burgage Stud, who sadly lost exciting young sire Jukebox Jury this week, are set to offer a filly by the sire, out of an own-sister to Briar Hill. Maxios’ offerings include a half-brother to talented dual-purpose performer The Very Man and Grade 3 winner Our Champ.
Blue Bresil, Goliath Du Berlais, Harzand, Masked Marvel, Affinisea, Crystal Ocean, Poet’s Word, Soldier of Fortune, Tunis and Walk In The Park are also among the leading sires with progeny catalogued.
A full preview of the sale will feature in next week’s edition. The catalogue can be viewed at tattersalls.ie
