HIGHLY-rated two-year-old Slaudeen features in a strong draft from Jessica Harrington’s Commonstown Stables in the Tattersalls Online October Sale, for which bidding gets underway from 11am on Wednesday, October 2nd. Bidding on the 155-lot catalogue will begin to close 24 hours later.
Slaudeen will be offered with a rating of 89, his win coming in a six-furlong rated race at Navan last month. The Starspangledbanner gelding had Birdcatcher Nursery winner First Approach behind him in fourth that day, but Harrington’s charge had the misfortune of bumping into other talented Ballydoyle colts on his first two starts.
He finished fourth to Tyros Stakes winner Green Sense on debut before showing promise behind Middle Park Stakes runner-up Brussels. He will be offered alongside stablemate Fiona Maccoul, who won the valuable Irish EBF Auction Series Race Final last season.
Jerrari, who hails from the family of Jezki, gained his second consecutive win in a handicap hurdle at the Galway Festival earlier this year. Philip Rothwell’s blacktype hurdler Mercury Mission was successful on his penultimate start.
Other Irish trainers consigning include Edward Lynam, John McConnell, John O’Donoghue, Ken Condon, Stephen Thorne and Willie Mullins.
Their British counterparts include John and Sean Quinn, who offer this season’s Zetland Cup winner Liberty Coach. The Le Havre gelding is a four-time winner over 10 furlongs.
Drafts from Alice Haynes, Andrew Balding, Ed Walker, George Boughey, George Scott, James Owen, Harry Fry, James Tate, Ralph Beckett, and Richard Fahey also feature.
Appealing pedigrees

Group 3 winner Killachy Loose is another appealing offering, having produced two stakes horses to date. Other eyecatching broodmares include a half-sister to Irish Guineas fourth Rare Ransom and a Galileo half-sister to Memory.
Yearlings include a State Of Rest sister to Surrey Stakes winner Gold Land (Danehill Dancer), an Australia half-sister to a dual listed winner, and a Zoustar filly who counts Group 2 winner Beautiful Romance as her granddam.
