THE Tattersalls February Sale has attracted 307 lots, which will go under the hammer on February 5th and 6th. Selling will get underway following the British EBF Stallion Parade and RoR Showcase at 11am on the opening day.

Horses in and out of training account for over two thirds of the catalogue, with a selection of broodmares, yearlings and two-year-olds also catalogued. Consignors include Godolphin, Juddmonte, Shadwell Estate Company and Cheveley Park Stud. Andrew Balding, William Haggas, Richard Hannon, Charlie Johnston and Ed Walker are among the trainers with horses catalogued.

Brazilian Group 1 winner Namasse, carrying a Southern Hemisphere cover to Cracksman, is among the expected highlights. A covering to freshman sire sensation Starman adds to the appeal of Shamardal mare Soft Cover, herself a granddaughter of Champion two-year-old filly Superstar Leo.

The Godolphin draft features a Frankel filly out of dual Classic winner Blue Bunting, while Shadwell’s consignment includes the 110-rated stakes performer Enfjaar. The Castlebridge Consignment present Goldinthesea, who won his second start in smart style for Joseph O’Brien last week.

Ed Walker’s progressive four-year-old Bridget’s View comes with a Timeform rating of 92 following a four-and-a-quarter-length win over a mile last month. The 80-rated Wilhelmina is also offered off the back of a win, and boasts further appeal as a half-sister to Group 1 British Champions Fillies/Mares Stakes winner Poptronic.

Sires of the nine two-year-olds catalogued include Cracksman, Harry Angel, Ten Sovereigns and Territories, whilst Bated Breath, Calyx, Dragon Symbol, Golden Horn, Kameko and Study Of Man are among those with yearlings catalogued.
