THE twice Group 1-placed three-year-old Bright Light was was among 10 wild cards added to the Arqana Arc Sale earlier this week, bringing next month’s offering to 43.

Andreas Suborics’ charge was beaten a neck by Tiffany in the Grosser Preis von Berlin two starts ago, before taking third in the Grosser Preis von Baden, with both starts coming over a mile and a half.

The son of City Light will be offered on October 3rd, with an entry in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe the following day, as will Alicja Karkosa’s four-year-old Chestnut Rocket. The Intello gelding won a listed race last November and repeated the feat this summer, before going close in the Group 2 Grand Prix de Deauville.

The most recent additions also included Lord Clover, who finished second to Hawk Mountain in a Group 3 earlier this season, group-placed sprinter Aralia, blacktype two-year-old Big Jet Plane, Group 3-winning three-year-old Space Waltz, and How Are You, a listed-winning full-brother to Minzaal
