POONAWALLA Stud has added four-time Group 1 winner Sosie to their growing roster, joining Territories, Satono Impresa and Leitir Mor.

The Wertheimer homebred gained top-flight wins from nine furlongs to a mile and a half on home soil, before travelling to Sha Tin last December, when the Andre Fabre-trained bay justified favouritism in the Hong Kong Vase. Third on his two subsequent starts, the son of Sea The Stars was a seven-time winner during his career, amassing over €4 million in earnings.

Sosie is one of four group performers out of the blacktype Shamardal mare Sosia, herself a half-sister to Group 1 winner Sortilege, while Schiaparelli and Samum feature further down the page.
