COLLEGELANDS Stud, home of the late Ciara Lyons, has been placed on the market.

With husband Austin Lyons, Ciara Eglington Lyons produced many winners at Collegelands in Summerhill, Co Meath.

The stud was established in 1996 and, from a small number of broodmares owned by themselves and friends, they produced and sold bred US Grade 1 winner Watsdachances and the Group 1-placed Aloha Star.

An asking price of in excess of €1,475,000 has been placed on the 20-acre property and country house by Coonan Property. The detached residence spans to just under 6,000 sq. ft and is a seven-bed, seven-bath property.

Well-maintained gardens sit with stud rail fences separating them from the lands attached to the property, which are set out in four divisions and come with road frontage.

The equestrian facilities include a tack room, feed room, horse walker, 10 stables and three sand arenas.
